Symptom: Air switch tripped
Analysis and judgment methods:
1. Due to the sudden increase of the current, the overheating protection in the air switch is activated. The reason is that the 3-phase imbalance of the incoming power supply
2. The power supply is equipped with a three-phase three-wire leakage safety device
3. Phase loss of the three-phase power supply of the spindle motor
4.Excessive external mechanical load (excessive damping of mechanical transmission system)
5. Interturn short circuit of the main transformer coil in the power supply box
6.The tripper itself is faulty
7. Emergency stop switch is not reset
Troubleshooting method:
1. Check the incoming power supply voltage to ensure that the voltage of each phase is maintained within the standard range (± 10%).
2. Replace the three-phase four-wire security device or remove the three-phase leakage security device.
3. The fault phenomenon can be detected by taking off the load (including separate power supply transformer, servo driver, servo motor)
4. Check the relevant mechanical parts and adjust the mechanical transmission system.
5. Replace the transformer
6. Replace the trip unit
7. Turn the emergency stop switch clockwise to make it pop open
