Industrial embroidery machine is an intelligent sewing equipment that uses new embedded system technology. It has the characteristics of high speed, high precision, multi-axis coordination, and optical, mechanical and electrical integration. It has become the mainstream equipment in the embroidery industry. Among them, Japanese Tajima, Barudan and German ZSK embroidery machines are the most representative in the international embroidery equipment industry. For industrial embroidery machines, pattern files are the basis for precision embroidery sewing based on computer technology. Due to the differences in function and system structure and the development of technology, the pattern formats that various industrial embroidery machines can recognize are not the same. The current international mainstream pattern formats include DST, DSB, DSZ, etc. Pattern information processing is one of the basic and key technologies for designing new industrial embroidery machines. Therefore, the study of pattern information has important practical significance. In order to be compatible with DST, DSB, DSZ pattern formats and process more embroidery information, this paper proposes an autonomous pattern format (SYT format) that is more suitable for industrial embroidery machine control systems based on the analysis of these pattern formats. The realization of Flash file system and the management of pattern files are studied.
